PRINCIPAL
Dvira Ovadia, principal designer of Dvira Interiors is an award winning and respected Toronto Designer, she is known for her clever Design work on a vast number of successful endeavours.
Dvira began working in the industry for a handful of world renowned design firms in New York City and Toronto before her successful win on a television design series called ‘From the Ground Up’ with Debbie Travis. Following that success, Dvira established her own design firm and in parallel was getting further involved in design & renovation shows.
Dvira has been the designer on TV series for the Unsellables, Reno and Relocate, Downright Domestic and moved into the role of Designer and Art director for 9 Seasons of the acclaimed- Income Property with Scott Mcgillivray on HGTV.
For over a decade now, Dvira’s multi-disciplinary Toronto Design firm works on a wide range of small and full scale residential and commercial interior projects, from concept to build her company services clients throughout Canada and the US.
Dvira’s work can be seen in numerous TV programs, as well as local and international design publications and websites across Canada and the United States. She is a regular contributor to the Toronto Sun newspaper as well as numerous design publications throughout the GTA, like Reno & Decor, On the Go Magazine and Homes Digest Magazine.
Dvira is praised for having approachable designs that are beautiful yet practical. She is a vivacious designer that’s full of life and never stops working, (some call her a Perpetuum mobile- Italian for Perpetual motion machine) her endless energy is aw-inspiring, she is meticulous in her ways and has a unique worldly design aesthetic that is always welcoming!
PROJECT MANAGER
With over 8 years of experience in styling, staging and design, Lana brings a youthful and fresh palate to the playing field. Lana is a self-taught stylist extraordinaire with some respected design diplomas under her belt. Lana has worked on a variety of TV shows from HGTV’s Colin and Justin to Income Property, Summer Home, and the acclaimed Master Chef Canada.
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
A brilliant mind with the ability to foresee fundamental stepping points in the business and daily operations. Bryan has been collaborating with Dvira for over 10 years. Bryan has a background in Graphic Design, Business, product management and has a strong flare for design. His role behind the scenes is vital and imperative for maintaining a well-oiled machine.
Lead Commercial Designer
Jozef Pilasanovic is a distinguished Architectural & Interior Designer with a comprehensive career spanning over two decades. His expertise ranges from senior roles at Kirkor Architects & Planners and HOK, where he developed and led numerous high-profile interior design projects, to specialized experiences in Aviation, Transportation, Urban Planning, Landscape, and Hospitality. Notably, his work at munge//leung:designassociates and Cecconi Simone Inc. underscored his talent for innovative design and client-centric solutions. Jozef’s foundational years at ARP – Arhitektonska Radionica Pilasanovic, marked the beginning of a career characterized by creativity, leadership, and a relentless pursuit of design excellence, setting the stage for his substantial contributions to the field of architectural and interior design.
Interior Designer & Logistics Coordinator
Julia Szabo is a talented Interior Designer known for her creative problem-solving and exceptional customer service skills. Her experience includes a pivotal role as a Design Assistant and Project Design Coordinator, where she demonstrated her ability to manage complex design projects with finesse. Julia’s expertise also extends to freelance work as a Junior Interior Designer, showcasing her versatility and dedication to the field. Earlier in her career, she made significant contributions as an Account Manager at Quartex Surfaces Inc., where she excelled for over three years in managing client relationships and applying her creative skills. Julia’s career path reflects her commitment to blending creativity with functional design, establishing her as a dynamic and valuable professional in the interior design industry.
Senior Designer & Studio Manager
Parand Babamiri is a dynamic Interior Designer and Project Coordinator with a demonstrated history of working in the design industry. Her role at GrandDesignBuild, spanning 10 months from 2021, exemplifies her skills in coordinating and executing design projects effectively. Prior to this, Parand enhanced her expertise as an Interior Design Associate at MJH, where she worked part-time, showcasing her ability to adapt and deliver quality work in various design environments. Her stint as an Interior Design Consultant with The Vogue Development Group Inc. for seven months in 2020-2021 further highlights her consultative skills and client-focused approach. Parand’s foundational experience in the field began with an internship at Contempo Studio, where she gained valuable insights into the interior design process. Additionally, her role as a Sales Service Representative at the YMCA of Greater Toronto, although part-time, provided her with essential customer service skills that complement her design expertise.
Interior Designer – Intern
Linoy is a fourth-year Interior Design student at Humber College, known for her passion for creating innovative and functional spaces. Her academic experience has endowed her with a strong command of various essential software tools, including AutoCad, Revit, Enscape, TwinMotion, SketchUp, and Adobe Photoshop, which she skillfully utilizes in her design projects. Linoy is recognized for her love of challenges and her zeal for continuous learning.
