Dvira Ovadia – On TV

Dvira Ovadia began her television debut after winning the reality design competition that aired on Global TV called From the Ground with Debbie Travis, Season 2.

After completing the design of 10 model homes for Debbie Travis and Tribute Communities, Dvira was invited to join a variety of design-related television programming.

Dvira started working on HGTV’s “The Unsellabales” with Sofie Alsoop.  She was responsible for creatively transforming drab and unsellable properties into fresh, revived and sellable homes for two seasons running.

Dvira also started to become as essential member of HGTV’s Income Property with Scott McGillivray.  From season One, Dvira has been working along side real estate and construction expert Scott McGillivray as the Designer and Art director for Income Property.  Her responsibilities make up an essential component of creating aesthetically pleasing rental units.  Dvira’s design responsibilities include, initial design concepts, site measures, rendering floor plans, providing space planning options, designing kitchens & bathrooms, selecting finishes, plumbing fixtures, equipment, accessories as well as dressing and staging the units for the big reveal.

Dvira has faithfully worked on Seasons 1 through 4 of the critically acclaimed HGTV show and can now be found designing for the filming of Income Property, Season 5 with Scott McGillivray.
